Vehicle Detail

The car is two tone blue and white. The car runs and the transmission works. The transmission also leaks. The car is all there ,nothing missing that I know of. I can't stress this enough, because most old cars have been modified or are missing parts. All of the stainless is in very good condition. The only dent the stainless has is on the top windshield molding and it can be fixed very easy. The other chrome needs to be restored. It has some pitting. The bumpers have some slight dents but they are minor and can be repaired when they are plated. The bumpers are not pitted bad. The interior needs a kit and the headliner needs to be replaced. It is 54 years old and it needs just about everything. The brakes do not work. The car was rust repaired and repainted at one time, but it needs to be repaired again. The rockers look solid but I think they as well as most other panels need attention. The floors have small patches. The trunk has a small patch. I don't know enough about ford engines to know where to look for the block numbers to know if the engine is original or not.The engine starts and runs and it doesn't look like it smokes much. The gas line is not hooked up to the engine. I have not pulled the gas tank off so I don't know the condition of the tank. I don't see leaks or holes in the tank. The windshield has one small chip. The rear window is good. The flat glass mostly needs to be replaced. The doors work and are all together. The panels fit fairly good. I know it seems like the car is in bad shape but it is restorable. The chrome that is bad is available new and might be cheaper than replating the old parts. Repair panels, as well as interior kits are available. On May-22-10 at 07:41:39 PDT, seller added the following information: I had a question about rust starting to show through. Yes on the left quarter. The right one shows surface rust . I don't know if it is rusted through or not.If you can please come and look. Ask questions, I will do my best to answer them. I thought the first pictures would show the areas but I needed to get closer to show the places more clearly. I don't want to try to hide anything.
