Normal 0 1984 Honda V65 Magna This is an extremely nice burgundy colored VF1100C with 16,900 original miles. This bike is the result of hundreds of hours of my spare time this last winter. I'm a mechanic by trade & I find the Honda Magna's to be in a class of there own. That's why it's my hobby to work on them. I'm sure if your looking at this auction you probably have an idea of the reputation this bike has. It's a great cruising bike with a style that will turn heads, and on the 1/4 mile there are few bikes that can perform as strong as the V65!! Here is a partial list of what was rebuilt & updated. Complete tune-up, valve clearance inspection/adjustment. Carburetor complete disassembly, ultrasonic cleaned, rebuilt & synchronized. All brake calipers disassembled cleaned rebuilt, clutch system flushed & fluids changed. Radiator & cooling system cleaned & fresh coolant and new thermostat. Fork seals replaced. I added a front fork cross-brace stainless steel reinforcement plate, pictured in last photo (to prevent the common cracks that occur with the brace). All filters changed. Seat has been recovered to color match the bike. I can't tell how old the covering is, I had purchased the bike with the seat. The paint on the bike is all original. There are a few flaws that I tried to get clear pictures of, one is to the left of the filler neck, the other is a 1 inch scratch on the left side about half way down the tank Overall for a 26 year old bike, the paint looks nice. The bike is in excellent running order. No second gear issues, the shifts are smooth and the clutch is firm. The engine starts right up and runs excellent with no ticks. The chrome & aluminum look great on the bike. The chrome exhaust is in great shape but it does have a minor blemish on the right pipe, a small scuff on the rear edge. I don't suspect the bike was ever laid down but it's possible the bike may have tipped on its right side. There is no other damage that I noted on it. This bike is not showroom new but my goal was to get it as close to that condition as possible. I would have to say it's one of the nicer ones I've seen. The tires are in nice shape with the front having a few seasons on them yet. The rear looks to have 75% tread left. The chrome on the front and rear rims looks good, but there is a small amount of flaking.All Turn signal stems are new, and the signal chrome & lenses look great!The bike also has a Hondaline engine case guard.
