1992 TOYOTA CAMRY – There are several minor things about this car that need to be repaired in order to make it drivable. This is a perfect car for someone who has a little time and money to fix it up. LET ME START WITH THE GOOD - this car always starts, even in the coldest weather. I have had this car for 3 years and it is the best runner I have ever had. It starts better than my 2008 Corolla. It does not use, burn, leak any oil that I know of. I changed the oil myself at 3000 miles and the oil looked good. It has a newer radiator, starter and distributor. The front tires were new last summer and are in good condition. The car has a few bumps and scratches on it and the paint is faded, but the body is in overall great condition. NOW FOR THE BAD – the windshield has one crack from left to right, all the way across. The CV boots are both cracked, but there is no CV wear noise. The front passenger side strut needs to be replaced and allows the car to “droop” on that corner. The rear tires are worn and need to be replaced. The front window tracks are worn and get off track. The stabilizing bar in the rear suspension is broken. The air conditioning does not work. Someone keyed the driver’s side which caused the plastic to break around the lock of the driver’s door, but the lock still operates. There is a pressure differential between the front and rear brakes, which I believe the rear brakes need to be “bleed”. OVERALL – the transmission operates fine with no problems. There is an after market stereo put in by the previous owner with a 6 CD player, which sounds pretty good. The car has it original hubcaps, floor mats, and owners manual. The electric locks work great. I do not know when, or if, the timing belt has been replaced, if I kept the car, this summer I would replace it. If I had the time, I would fix this car myself but it is in the way and it has to go. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU VIEW AND TEST DRIVE THIS CAR.
