This auction is for a 1988 Ford E250 van. The van shows 70,752 miles on the odometer. Because we have not owned this van since new, we can’t confirm the actual mileage. This van is equipped with a 5.0L EFI V8 gas engine, automatic transmission, air conditioning, cruise control, AM/FM radio, power brakes, power steering, sliding side door, ladder rack and trailer hitch. It has a GVWR rating of 7,900 lbs. A rebuilt engine was installed in 2000 and this engine has approximately 12,600 miles on it. A new catalytic converter was installed in 2007. The van runs and drives well and the body is rust free. The driver’s door has a dent and the rear bumper is dented (see photos). The tires and brakes are good and everything works on the van except the air conditioning does not blow cold air, the radio comes on, but has no sound and the cruise control does not work. The vehicle condition is consistent with most used work vehicles. It has a clear California title, no license plates and just passed a California smog test inspection (California smog certificate included). This van is owned and operated by a municipality and has received regular preventive maintenance service. Scheduled viewings of the vehicle may be made prior to the close of the auction. This vehicle comes with all items shown in the pictures and includes a spare tire and jack. No other parts or accessories come with this vehicle. This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. This vehicle is being sold in AS-IS condition with no warranty expressed or implied.
