Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 This is auction is for a Silver 2002 Mercedes Benz SLK320 Hard Top Convertible Roadster This would be a great project you could do this spring so this summer you could cruise around in style and drop the top. If this car had a clean title and was in good shape the retail value for it would be $16,690.00 This is quite the deal! Will be a real head turner. Automatic transmission with a large 3.2 Liter V6 with rear wheel drive make the car quick, very agile, and give it stunning performance. The car is a hard top convertible which opens with the touch of a button, no levers to mess with. The car has just over 30,000 miles on it. As shown in the picture the tires still have a lot of tread on them. The tires are on 16" aluminum rims. The car is from Texas and has never been in snow. The car comes with the factory BOSE stereo system that sounds great. The car has a salvage title but should not require much of an investment to fix. It was hit in the front end which caused damage to the hood, bumper, headlights, and engine compartment. I can find no visible damage to the frame or sub-frame. The suspension looks untouched as well. Parts that you should need to fix it will be at least a new timing cover, air injection pump, radiator, a/c lines, coolant lines to radiator, windshield fluid tank, air intake manifold, idler pulley, spark plugs, seats, air bag control module, alarm control module, communications module, windshield, entire driver’s side door, and passenger door has scrape needs paint. Pictures 6 & 7 show the front frame, picture 8 shows the scratch on the passenger door. I also have the white 2001 SLK320 shown in the last picture which was a flood car with a perfect body on it for sale if you are interested. I have already fixed a 2001 SLK320 which is why the seats and modules are missing from the car. I am not a mechanic but did fix the first car. As said I am not a mechanic so there may be other parts that you may need to purchase, if so there are many of these in the salvage yards to get parts from. I do have a link to a website that has the factory repair manual on it to help you fix the car. All the parts I took off the engine are in a box and all of the fasteners or bolts I put back into their holes so I did not loose them. The interior does need a few of the wood trim pieces replaced on the center console.
