I have here one 1955 chevy belair sport coupe for sale. I bought this car mostly complete - motor and trans and began to restore it .The body was removed from frame and new one piece complete floorpan with braces powder coated was installed.1500.00 for floorpan alone not installed. also were replaced the toeboards,rocker panals inner and outer,10in back trunk pan rear suport and splash pan.I reinstalled the body after sanding and painting the frame with all new body mounts and rubber. after striping all the paint off of the body i decided to replace the pas side complete rear quarter panel 1000.00 just for the part delivered.after the top was painted i installed front and rear glass with new rubber seals. then striped drivers door and installed new inner lower half and new complete door skin 450.00 just for the new metal parts.x 2 then bought all new parts to restore the doors rubber, wiskers ,seals ,tracks. rubber rollers,glass and crome including replacing those pesky vent rubbers. then had the car striped and painted from firewall back with dupont cromabase paint and clearcoat.while i had the glass out i painted the dash and clear coated it.iI have all the dash parts except lighter and in near perfect condition . i bought alot of new parts,not counting the metal parts way to many to list but total over 4k new trunk and hood emblems complete and tail lights complete just to name a few. i have all the rubber needed to seal car. trunk ,hood,doors,windows every piece of rubber on the car is new.I have every nut bolt and screw for reinstalling trim. crome, stainless for entire car including all dash and interior as well.I have the original bumpers and are really solid to recrome.the original grille is in really nice condition no need to replace.car has all complete original interior and for being 55 years old there in really nice condition. the car also has brand new ralley wheels and bf goodrich radial tas p235r15 front and p255r15 on rear. over 1000.00 in new tires and wheels that have never seen the road.Im working this week to finish the pass door and paint . then the car will be painted from firewall back. i will include paint to finish hood and front fenders which i havent painted . the fenders are solid with one needing eyebrou which i have included and hood is allsome with no rust or dents just strip and paint. the problem is im moving to texas and have no where to put car plus i have several other cars and a semi full of furniture to move so theres no way i can take this car as well .I will say this the really ,really, dirty, messy ,crappy. work has been finished . it was just getting ready to start being fun. The car needs to be paid for and picked up by june1st so im runnin out of time . The trim and vin are in place and i have title in my name.so no problems there. i have over 15k not counting any labor and my reserve is much much lower.You will never buy a 55 hardtop to restore and get it to where i have this one and do it cheaper.i have over 1200.00 in paint suplies as well. i never spared one dime or cut one corner on this car. this was not going to be a bondo buggy it was on its way to be a very high dollar car.so dont miss out.I dont have time to run this add two or three times so please dont bid if you dont have the money or dont have wifes permission.lol i know there will be questions so ask away and i can send more photos if needed. On May-19-10 at 21:15:02 PDT, seller added the following information: i had someone ask about no photos of pasenger side and if i was hiding somthing. actually if you read my early listing i state im working on finishing passenger door getting ready to paint .The cream is already painted and the burgundy area is primered and sanded with 1000 grit ready to paint .ill paint it and the door, at the same time and will have a complete photo of passenger side in the next two days well before auction ends. i did however add one photo showing the cream painted and this is the new complete quarter i had installed.
