Sharp! 169,000 miles (These 7-series can go for well over 250,000 miles). Over $10,000 in maintenance and repairs in the last 2 years, 20k miles. This car has classic BMW styling, with all the modern features: Xenon headlights, rain sensing windshield wipers, navigation system, Factory 14 speaker stereo system with built-in subwoofers and 6cd changer in the trunk, motion activated security system, auto-dimming rearview mirror, integrated 3 car garage opener, etc. The MSRP for this BMW when new was $65,000! Pretty good gas mileage for a big V8, I average 22mpg with a mix of highway and city driving. Continental tires with about 60% tread remaining. Front side impact and head airbags! See all standard features below. The engine runs great and is very fast! Tranny just replaced, shifts as smooth as when this car was new! A very quiet ride, especially smooth on the highway. This BMW is ready to go for at least another 100,000 miles! All the common maintenance items and common problems for this mileage have been done! There are literally thousands of components and gadgets on this car, here is what still can be done long term: The CD changer powers up, looks like its working, but no sound...I have no idea what the problem is. The radio and tape work fine, as well as the navigation screen and car info displays. (I just reloaded the software for the Nav computer and it works great!) Auxiliary Fan doesn't always work - The fan is designed to boost air flow when the AC is turned on. I have used this BMW for 2 years like this, the AC still works good as-is. If you want to replace, a used fan goes for about $150 on ebay, and I would take it somewhere to install. ($100-$150) The rear lower bumper has a little paint starting to come off. The bumper underneath is black, as well as the lower bumper below it, so it is not very noticeable. This is common on these 7-series. The glove box does not stay closed unless locked, and once open it is not easy to close again. The REAR driver's side window does not go down, oh well! The front rotors are slightly warped, causing a slight shimmy in the steering wheel when braking. Passed inspection and no effect on stopping distance, but long term you would want to get some new front ventilated rotors with ceramic pads. There is normal wear inside and out for a vehicle that’s 10 years old. Some light scratches in the clear coat, some small dings on the exterior, not very noticeable. Interior has some wear to the leather seats, mostly just the driver’s seat. Not major, no holes or anything. In addition to standard features, it has the cold weather package with heated front and rear seats and heated steering wheel.
