Vehicle Detail
1958 VW ragtop beetle ready for driving. This car's pictures will speak for themselves. Motor has less than 100 miles since build and is strong. Trans shifts perfectly. The interior is all new and near perfect. Seats have new padding and WCM covers front and rear. Carpet is WCM. Headliner is custom and absolutely stunning. Clear needle speedo, early working radio, chrome ebrake, monster tac under dash, seat frames sand blasted and painted, roller gas pedal, porsche logo seat belts, and much more. The original GTV steering wheel is not included with sale but can be purchased with the car seperately. I will not sell the wheel to anyone but the buyer of the car, please don't ask. Will install an original restored VW steering wheel. New WCM door panels. Golde ragtop handle. Chrome steering column. Custom working horn and blinker switch. The list goes on. Exterior is very nice. Paint is good but not new. Some minor chips and scratches here and there. I drive the car but never in rain or moist conditions. Fog lights on front bumper, lighted please pass sign on rear and safety star. Fabricated vert style decklid on rear with rain tray. Wide trim running boards new. New tires. Five spoke empi style wheels with porshce center cap logo. New rollers on ragtop and canvas top. Polished ragtop sliders. New roof rack goes with car. OG hood handle and script. Too much to list. Trunk is extra clean and pics indicate. Custom wiring that is not pictured. I will get some pics if desired when my time permits. New style fuse panel with glass style fuses. Adjustable front beam. Car is low and the rear plates have been turned some too. It is sitting on rollers in the shop for pics but is a perfect stance when off. Motor has too much detail to even begin to describe. You can see most of it and ask questions if there is something you want to know. Has big piston kit and scat cam but pretty much stock other than that inside. I only found rust in the passenger side front floor with was repaired with a small patch panel. Battery tray is clean. Small area on roof beginning to show bubble where ragtop was grafted but not a big issue. As with any old car there may be things I didn't notice or overlooked. The car is sold as is where is. No warranties expressed or impled. No mention of vehicles fitness for a particular purpose is made. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and costs associated with sale, transport, or delivery. Car is for sale locally and seller reserves the right to end the auction early. Please ask any questions. Please inspect vehicle prior to bidding if possible. No title issued on vehicles 1975 and later in Alabama. Bill of sale only with car. Check your laws before bidding. Please don't bid if you can't acquire funds or need financing. Please don't bid if you are planning a trip for a a month and can't pick up the car. Please don't bid if you can't leave deposit within 24 hours of end of sale. Here are a few things I forgot to mention, sure I will think of more. Hella front turn signals, porsche style flutted headlight glass, blue halogen headlight conversion, 88mm jugs, empi push bumper bars, empi trigger shifter, j tubes, and new wide trim running boards. I have attempted to descibe the car as accurately as possible, there may be some things I forgot to list. Ask any questions you like.
