Up for auction is my uncle and I's project 1968 Camaro Z28. It is a real Z28 and we have the original Protect-O-Plate and warrenty booklet to prove its MO. My uncle purchased the car 6 years ago, its been a local car since new and has had around 4-5 owners since new. The car doesnt have the original 302 engine in it but it does have a 327 that does have the correct casting numbers for a 68 302. It does have the original Muncie M-21 with 12 bolt posi rear end. One of the previous owners years ago took the front disc brakes off and converted them to drum I have no idea why. The car will start up and move on its own power, it runs rough it would need a tune up and good gas to run much better. The body is dented in areas and the paint job thats on it is 20 years ago so its rough and cracking in areas. It is a project car and does need a full restoration, I took 105 pics of the car in and out. The only rust issues on the car would be the quarter panels, drivers floor, and bottom of the front fenders. The trunk, bottom of the windows etc are very good with no rust through! We do have some new parts that go with the car, new fuel tank, lower valance, full car wiring kit for RS car, New Holley repo non stamped correct carb and other misc parts. This is a very rare Camaro and is an extremely great start to a full restoration, you just cant find 68 Z28's in project form anymore.
