************ Vintage 1968 Volkswagen Convertible Beetle , a True California Classic VW BUG ************ This is our Classic Black Tie Tuxedo Volkswagen Convertible , we purchased it in California , we drove it all over , had it restored to the utmost coolest correction we could afford and the came the recession of '08 ...anyway , we moved to Idaho last year and have left the car covered and stored (inside/locked storage) ever since then. The economy has not been good to us since 2008 now and many things have changed in our life so we are selling the remainder of our assets and Car Collection to make things work better for us. The car is he now in the Boise area as we had it finally removed from storage and brought here last week... Without bragging....we pumped the gas 3 times before turning it over and twice when starting it and it fired right up ! Same gas, Same oil , same points and plugs , same battery .....really runs like the day we parked it. In the future there are some things that you will have to freshen but overall its ready to go now ( we been driving it around in the nice weather) ....Cool car ... Rather than go down a long list of everything we have done in the past and upgrades we made , here are the highlights: New Chrome Bumpers , new Stainless Trim , Good tires (just been sitting) , New Windshield, good Glass , new rubber and weather strip , New interior (off white - very very nicely done ), Factory seats , new carpet thru out, upgraded wheel caps , excellent to new mint dash , dash cluster and gauges ... very very nice, Black and Off White Tuxedo paint ...the paint is extremely good , very nice , has one thin area but really really nicely done and very professional , the body is extra extra straight ( Show Straight)... If you asked an opinion of what it needs ...thats easy ... Passenger mirror ( new but pushed back) , Minor Tune up, Sun visor Clip , Oil Change .... Thats it as far a I know , its pretty much like the day we stored it..This car came right out of the Bug Club there in Orange County .... you would have to spend well more than $20k to buy a convertible and restore it to these specs with all we've done in the past ... Its very reliable and really just needs to be driven. The top works well and is in excellent condition , its an off white as well like the paint and interior. You cannot drive anywhere without people coming and talking to you about this bug , the convertible is so fun ....You can draw a crowd at a gas station ...easy .... And driving to a Car Show and driving home with a Trophy is always so fun but everyone ...young , old , man or woman always loves it and stops to look it all over with plenty of smiles ....... You'll see !! We are selling this 42 year old Vintage Classic as is and where is , if you want to come look at it or send someone out to inspect it then I will make it available any day except Sunday. I posted pics of the inside and the outside , in the sun and on the grass, I even posted a U-Tube Video of it so you could see it , hear it and watch it drive down the road ! Yes the car was bought from a person that drove it daily over in California 2. The paint is great , not perfect but good enough to win. 3. Runs and drives great but been sitting for a long while so that is the buyers responsibility to change the fluids and stuff. 3. The rubber is new I think just need one for the upright on the doors , like $30 bucks and the clip on .. 4.
