1997 Jeep Wrangler 4x4 Ready for Summer Fun Up for bid is a 1997 Jeep Wrangler 4x4. The vehicle has been inspected by ASE Certified technicians and we have replaced anything we can see mechanically wrong with the vehicle. We have replaced the muffler, exhaust manifold gasket, power steering resivor, side marker lights, tires, rims and spare tire carrier. We've also replaced the fuel pump, radio, resealed the steering gear box and replaced the brakes on the front and rear. We also replaced the caliper on the front left. Mechanically, the vehicle is in excellent condition and you should be able to drive it anywhere in the country. I have personally taken the vehicle on several drives and even given it a good mud bogging test. It drives fine on the road or the mud. The four wheel drive works in both 4 wheel high and 4 wheel low. The clutch is tight and shifts gears easily. This vehicle drives great! You will not be disappointed. The exterior of the Jeep is in good condition. There are minor scratches and dings that you would expect of a vehicle of this year and mileage. The previous owner removed the side mirrors but they are inside the Jeep and do come with the vehicle. The zipper on the divers side window is broken and needs replacing. The only other thing cosmetically wrong with the vehcile is bar on the rear vinyl is missing which leaves the bottom of the rear plastic unsecured. Very inexpensive repairs. The interior of the Jeep is in really good condition. The seats are cloth and do not show signs excessive amounts of wear. There are no rips, tears or burns. Very comfortable ride for a Jeep. This vehicle was purchased at auction as a repossession and shipped to the dealer. It was discovered the vehicle had several mechanical issues that needed attention. The dealer authorizes me to fix what is necessary to make the vehicle mechanically sound. We then sell the car for the dealer and retain a portion of the sale for our time, parts and labor.
