This Westfalia has just undergone a cosmetic restoration/refinishing with new paint in it's original VW color (Dakota Beige - L13A), new and good condition original, or refurbished exterior fixtures, and new and newer window and door rubber. It is very tight and solid, and is ready to cruise and camp. It is powered by its stock original, GE 2.0 liter, L-Jetronic, motor with Hydraulic Lifter. This is the most powerful and most sought after motor made for the Vw Baywindow Westfalia Camper. The 4 speed manual transmission shifts properly through all gears. Electrical system is in good working order. Exterior lighting including headlamps, turn signals, emergency, tail lights, and wipers are working properly. Interior lights are operational. The stereo is a pioneer cd player. There is space for auxiliary battery to use when hookups are not available. Exterior.......This Westy is eye catching. Mechanically.......... It is very tight and solid, and is ready to cruise and camp. It is powered by its stock original, GE 2.0 liter, L-Jetronic, motor with Hydraulic Lifter. This is the most powerful and most sought after motor made for the Vw Baywindow Westfalia Camper. The 4 speed manual transmission shifts properly through all gears.
Electrical system is in good working order. Exterior lighting including headlamps, turn signals, emergency, tail lights, and wipers are working properly. Interior lights are operational. The stereo is a pioneer cd player. There is space for auxiliary battery to use when hookups are not available.
Exterior.......This Westy is eye catching. It was repainted in its original VW color of Dakota Beige (L13A). All exterior fixtures and windows were removed before paint. Bumpers were reconditioned and repainted white. Pop-top and luggage rack were also repainted with weatherproof paint. Wheel rims were refinished in white. There are new rubber seals for front windshield, rear window and all other fixed/stationary windows, and sliding door. Front doors and sliding door have new good condition seals. There are new seals for the pop-top and new westy decals.
Interior......... There is the original front floor, aisle and cargo carpet. Original door panels, still look great. Original seat stand mats, kick panels, and new front seat upholstery. There are four seat belts - two lap/shoulder belts for front bucket seats and two lap belts for the rear bench seat. The original side and rear curtains are present and in good shape. The front passenger seat swivels to face the rear.
