Re-listing due to an unresponsive, non paying buyer. This is my 1997 Hardbody. I've owned this truck since 2001. Over the years this has been the best truck I've ever owned. It never asked for much other than routine service. Then one day last fall, it just died. I've done my best to run down the problem to no avail, and now I've just decided to sell it. It will start right up and run, but poorly. It will not wind up past 3,000rpm. Of course it had to do this after I had just put on a new tonou cover, new tires, muffler, cat. converter, front rotors and pads, upper ball joints, and a new right drive axle. In my attempt to fix it, I installed a new distributor, cap and rotor, plugs, and wires. Two new o2 sensors, MAF sensor, and crank position sensor. I've tested my fuel pump, and injectors, installed a new fuel filter, all without curing it. My OBD2 scanner hasn't been much help either. So if you know what's wrong with it or think you can fix it, good luck to you! Part it out and fix yours or whatever, you can drive it up onto a trailer, or winch it onto a rollback.
