Item up for bid is a 1970 Chevelle Malibu 2 door sport coupe. I purchased this vehicle on ebay in 2006. It has been stored inside since 2006. This car needs more time and money than I have to spend. The guy I bought it from said he found it in a field where it had been sitting for at least 15 years. It is very rusty as you can see in the pictures. The front end (fenders and radiator support) are just sitting on the car. They need to be replaced. It needs a full floor pan, trunk pan, inner and outer wheelhouses and full quarters to get started. The frame has some rust. You can see in the pictures that the very front of the frame is rusted out below where the radiator support bushings sit. There are also some rust holes in the lower part of the frame just forward of the firewall. The interior is completely shot. There is rust on the cowl area where the fenders bolt on. There are a few good parts on the car. The glass is all there. The windows roll up and down. The rear window is not pictured but is included. The windshield is broken. The transmission is still in the car. I believe it is a TH350. The engine is missing. This is an a/c car. The a/c box is in the trunk. I think all of the trim moldings are there. If they aren't on the car they are in the trunk. I think this car has potential to be more than a demo derby car or sent to the crusher. I have a clear Indiana Title. Vehicle is available for local pickup in Evansville, IN or buyer can make shipping arrangements.
