You are bidding on a 1985 Mercury Capri GS 5.0, 5 Speed manual. This is not a SSP, LX, Saleen, Rouch, Steeda, Cobra, Capri or any other specialty type Stang. If you know anything about the four eye Fox Body years then you will know that they are getting extremely hard to find and even harder in such good and unmolested conditions. You are also familiar with this year as one of the best production years for the Fox Body. The Capri was the answer from Mercury to Ford on a Luxury Sports Coupe from 1979 to 1986. Very few Capris were built and less with the 5.0 engine. (When was the last time you saw one of these?). Most of their parts will interchange with Mustangs 1979-1993. This car is not perfect but it is in great conditions and very clean and it has a complete interior. It does not have an accident history and still wears original paint. Overall the paint is good but there is a spot over the driver side that needs some touch-up. I have decided not to paint the car so the buyer does not have to wonder if the car has had any accidents or body work. The A/C need recharging but does blow air and all controls work. Hurry as this car will go fast and you might miss out. This is a great car to go back in time and remember your better years or make memories for the years to come. You could not buy and build this car for the price I am offering for!! The problem I have with the car is that the driver side window stopped working several days ago. The switch and the motor work but it is not going up. This car is a very solid car and I would trust it to drive anywhere in the United States. Pick it up and take a road trip. The only rust on this car is beneath the doors which you can see on the pictures and minor surface rust toward the upper part on the hatch close to the roof line (Not the hatch itself).
