This is a very rare 64 1/2 Mustang. It is a rust free car with all original sheet metal. It was built on 3-12-1964 which was the 3rd day of production.It is my understanding that they were not made available to dealers untill April of 64. It is a very high option car. It has v-8, a/t,a/c (works good), power top, power steering, and console. The original 260 was replaced with a 289. However the original 260 is still around and will be included with the car. These early cars had alot of parts that were special to these cars. some of the special items are, generater, color keyed door lock knobs, fender and quarter extensions, horns, different radiator support, distributer... and more. All these parts are still with the car. The door tag reads Body- 76a color -p trim-89 date-12c dso-63 axle-1 trans-6 waranty number 5F08F100878 The car runs great but has not been driven much in the past 5 years. It has never been flooded or involved in any major accidents. It went through a mild restoration in the late 70's which included the only repaint that it has had. It looks good and is very pressentable, but the paint job does show it age, The car also still has the original 1964 mat in the trunk. Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost and arrangements.
