This is a very desirable SL roadster that has become a super collectible classic amongst Mercedes collectors all around the world. This is truly a classic piece of art with beautiful body lines that bring out both the luxury and sporty sides that represent Mercedes signature and the best part of this classic icon is that it has less than 105,000 actual miles. This car was offered with all luxury amenities including air conditioning and all power options, cruise control. It comes with both tops. It has the dependable fuel injected 4.5 liter V-8 engine. The car runs and drives beautifully. The engine is super smooth and quiet. The transmission, brakes, suspension all operate perfectly. I have driven this car long distance with no problems. The car is absolutely stunning to look at from a distance or up close. The gorgeous Red paint is virtually flawless and just breathtaking to look at. The body is extremely straight with all body panels free of any accidents. The paint is brilliant with no sun damage. The car is completely rust free and has never had any body panels replaced. The carpet kit is excellent shape though the floor mats are wrinkled and show signs of wear. The dash cover is crack free. The light brown canvas soft top is in excellent shape. The engine compartment is detailed and clean. The original trunk carpet is in excellent shape with the original spare and tool kit. The matching red hardtop comes with a rolling storage stand. The selling party had hired a certified Mercedes Mechanic to assure its current condition (ac service, fluids, & mechanical inspection). That day, my wife drove this car 285 miles back to Las Vegas with a smile on her face. Since the day I purchased this vehicle, we have driven It only a few hundred miles each year, mostly up and down the strip.
