For Sale: 1998 GMC Sonoma SLS Extended Cab V6 Description: This truck is in great shape with the 4.3 liter High Output V6 with 116,7XX miles and automatic transmission. There are not many of these trucks with this engine (same engine as the S10 SS). I have added a throttle body spacer and large cone air filter for some extra performance. The exterior is in good shape, extended cab and stepside with Copper Metallic paint (factory paint); also has bedliner. The exterior has a little wear and tear, with a couple small scratches and a small dent in the hood. The tailgate has 3 airbrushed decals on the back. Has a third door (handle is broken, cheap to fix) and a jump seat. The interior is in good shape that is tan in color, and has a CD player with a good sound system (4 mid-range and 4 tweeters; 8 speakers total), also with a custom sub box that fits behind the seats (and matches the interior) that have 2 MB Quart 12 inch sub woofers and a big MB Quart 5-channel amp. The whole audio step-up was roughly $1000 new. The passenger air bag was removed by the previous owner and replaced with a block-off plate. It is also lowered 3 inches with 20 inch wheels. There are 2 tires at are pretty new with at least 90% tread, and the other 2 have about 40% tread (pictures of each available upon request). There are also front and rear sway bars (both very thick), makes for a very good handling truck. Recently I have put quite a bit of money into it to get everything up to date. I have replaced: serpentine belt, serpentine belt tensioner, PCV valve, fuel filter, air filter, thermostat, front brakes, radiator flush, oil change (about 1500 miles ago), battery replaced (3 year warranty), center link, idler arm, tie rod ends (both inner and outer), and lower ball joints (both), and a fresh alignment to top it all off. This truck runs like a champ and has been maintained very well (oil change every 3000 miles with Valvoline High Mileage Synthetic Blend and a fuel system cleaner). Everything is power (windows, locks, side view mirrors, steering, brakes) and the A/C works great and blows cold too.
