Vehicle Detail

Relisting due to non paying bidder. (Chad Hall from Huntsville, Texas) Won bidding then wouldn't even return calls or emails. I seriously hate to sell this truck....but I found my dream truck, (another Chevy) and I hope I don't regret letting this one Go...This truck has been well taken care of. I'm the second owner, and the guy who owned it previously, ordered it with some rare options. And please please please....don't even think about bidding if you can't make full payment within 3 days from the closing....3 DAYS, PAYMENT IN FULL. First of all, it is absolutely loaded. I think the only options it doesn't have, is a power passenger seat, and leather, and I'm not even sure they were available. The Tan cloth interior is in great shape, with only a little wear on the outer edge of the driver's seat. Very little wear...but just wanted to note it. Power windows, tilt, cruise, cassette, cd (all factory) split front bench with center fold down counsel. All gauges, Auxillary Brake Controller, sliding back glass, and pop out rear side windows. I have dark tinted window film that will go with it, I haven't installed it... The truck has gooseneck or 5th wheel universal Reese Hitch in the bed. As you can see in the pics, the bolts and rails are brand new, I installed it last year and used it maybe 4 times....pulling and empty gooseneck trailer. It also has a class IV bumper hitch, with electric brakes wired into the pig tail...The truck has newer Cooper Discovery tires, on 2005 factory aluminum wheels that I think look sharp. The center caps are from my 1997 wheels (which will be included if someone uses the buy it now option, as well as some other goodies, worth about 2,500.00 additional) I don't have the 2005 center caps, but I see they're available on ebay for about 120.00. This truck has a lot of highway miles. I've been all over this great country in her. I've always used Mobile 1 full synthetic Motor oil, and it uses no oil whatsoever. I also use Mobile 1 gear oil in the differentials, and I have it changed whenever I have the oild changed...30 bucks extra, insures no problems. In the past few months, I put a complete tune up on it, plugs, cap, rotor button, wires, and a Distributor gear. The idle was fluctuating a bit, like a small miss, and my good friends who are Chev mechanics, found the wear in the gear and we replaced it, and it now runs excellent. Everything works....New brakes on front, (and it needs the rears done) and I just discovered today, the air needs a shot of freon. Late in the summer last year, it wasn't getting as cold as it had in the past. The transmission, which is one of those rare options, is the L480E. This is the Heavy Duty tranny that is usually only found in one tons, and duallies, such as wreckers. It is still an overdrive tranny, and that combined with the axle ratio (3.55, or 3.73) means it gets pretty good gas mileage for a big 4x4. The oversize tires, made the speedo off by about 4 MPH...60 on the speedo is 64 in reality, so when you figure gas mileage, it looks like 12 or 13, but it's really 16 or 17 highway. The tach says about 1700 rpm at 65 MPH....awesome. I replaced the fuel tank, fuel pump and sending unit in August. It only needed a pump, but that's how I do things...It's too nice of a truck to not fix it the right way. I had the tranny rebuilt about 15,000 miles ago when it seemed to be slipping in reverse. I figured if I caught sooner rather than later, it wouldn't be as expensive....wrong. It was about the same....but it has performed flawlessly. I recently hauled a buddies boat back from Key West, and it was a 30 Donzi....twin 454....bad ass boat. Pulled it like a dream, up mountains, no problem....barely kicked the cruise off, at the steepest parts of the mountains... The Body....is in great shape for the year and miles....theres a couple of little area's....the lip of the hood on the passenger side, needs touched up (see pics) and I backed into a boat trailer that was up in the air, just below the drivers side tail light...(also in pics). Then, as I was washing it to get it ready for the pics....I noticed a place that needs repair, just below the passenger side rear rocker panel. It's a hole about the size of my thumb.....crap.....long winter didn't allow me to catch it in time to keep it from going through. The tailgate needs a new opening mechanism....or some plastic bushings....it's stiff. The previous owner had a mesh tailgate on it, and I think this one sat around and didn't get used, so the mechanism rusted up.... Okay...whew....for the extra's I talked about. This truck, if bought via BUY IT NOW....will come with several extra's at no extra charge. If it goes auction all the way, then they will be available only as options for additional fees. Here's a list of OPTIONAL accessories. The first is a HINIKER snow plow. It was a 3,995.00 plow. It's the quick mount...where the entire things drops off, in about 15 seconds. You literally plug in 2 plugs, mounted in the grill, and flip one lever, and insert a safety pin, and GO. The plow is in very good condition. I used it about 5 times for maybe 2 hours total, in the 5 years I owned it. The previous owner used the plow to only do his 1/4 mile long drive, that wound through the woods, and I verified the drive when I picked it up.....and by the looks of the plow, it hadn't been used as a plow truck....not at all. I have never been a fan of plows on my trucks, so I used t to do my church parking lot 2 times, and a couple of old lady , as well as my own. This past winter....as bad as it was...I never even hooked it up...not once. Also, it the buy it now is used, I will throw in the stock wheels and tires.....with beauty rings....they have about 60% of the tread left, and are pretty sharp in their own right. I'll keep the 2005 wheels if the truck sells for less than 4,000. 00 They'll eb available to the winning bidder, for an additional 600.00 The tires were more than that. I have over 1,200.00 in em. The truck also comes with a matching fiberglass topper....the clear is starting to peel on the top of it....but that's an easy fix. My buddy said he'd paint the topper, the hood, the damage below the taillight, and the passenger side rocker for 350.00, so it would be in excellent if those small things were fixed.....I don't want to have to fix em though. I need to sell it quick, thus, the low and all inclusive Buy It Now....okay....any questions, just ask.....I get online at night, so no daytime responses from me....sorry. FINALLY......YES, I will consider trades....but I need some cash with whatever you got......so be prepared.....and I believe in this truck so much.....I will deliver it for gas and a return plane ticket.....I have to go to Fresno California in a week and a half, so if you live in Cali, or anywhere in between.....I'll deliver it, for gas and a ticket from your home to Fresno Cali.... Bid Early, and Bid Often......or....Make Me an Offer..... Thanks. On Apr-16-10 at 20:02:49 PDT, seller added the following information: Very sorry for this oversight...Look close in the picture of the rear window. the front windshield is cracked in the lower left corner....and one more thing, the rear bumper is rusted through just to the left of the license plate...it will need a new back bumper....to make it right....too nice of a truck not to do it right. I apologize for the error. Once More......you won't be sorry, this is a great truck.
