1951 CHEVY DELUXE SEDAN I have a 1951 Chevy Deluxe that is in good condition with 12,976 original miles. It comes with fender skirts and sun visor. Sporting the original 235 engine and 3-speed manual transmission. Original 6 volt system. He has cleaned gas tank and replaced 6 volt battery. Was working on the break lines, got 2 in and still have some to do to them. It drives good and rides smooth. Have some papers and insurance showing it was insured in 2000.I bought it at an estate sale 1 year ago for grandson and he has been working on it with a friend of ours who is an engineer at GM plant in Shreveport, La. guiding him.Took me for a ride once and it was smooth and comfortable. With some TLC and work, it would be a WONDERFUL car. Grandson has decided he wants a truck.It had been stored in a metal building on concrete slab with another vehicle. The old man had painted the chrome with some kind of paint that was suppose to protect it until it was repainted on the body. Interior seats good, but door panels are not in good shape and need redoing..
