THE REAL DEAL! 1966 Chevelle SS 396 Here is a REAL 1966 Chevelle Super Sport Car. It’s VIN number "138"176K216255 with clear TEXAS title. The car was being restored till the past owner suffered a heart attack. The body is very nice and straight and covered with high end polyurethane primer. The doors shut solid and tight. Most of the body work has been done. I was told this car is an original 4 speed car. The clutch pedal is there, but the steering column is the wrong one. The floors, trunk pan, lower quarters etc. have been restored or replaced as has the metal around the rear window glass. The body is nice! Speaking of glass, the windshield is in great shape and the door glass. The rear glass is missing. The engine and transmission and seats are missing as well. The front door panels look new and it looks like the carpet was replaced. The grill and chrome bumpers are in nice shape and I have many of the original chrome SS and 396 chrome ornaments.
