Up for sale is my 1999 Ford escort ZX2 I am selling it because I recently bought and Blazer and don't need two vehicles. Exterior is in fair shape as well as the interior. The vehicle currently has 168990 on it but will be driving it for a week until i pick up my new truck so will have a few hundred more but not more than 300 or so. The car runs and drives fine and as I said I am currently driving it, great commuter or first time driver, or even as a second vehicle. Don't miss out a good cheap car that after a minor fix will get u around fine. For out of state drivers that don't have to worry about check engine for inspection this car is ready to go the evap cyclonoid dosen't effect performance at all. Tires are at half tread about 5/32 all the way around and brakes were done last year and are about half way down as well. THE GOOD: -during the last 6 months normal wear and tear was fixed. -Two new wheel barrings on front -Two new ball joints on front -Two new tie rods on rod -Wheel alignment -AM/FM radio, cassette and 6 CD changer in truck. THE BAD: -Check engine light is on due to evap cycloniod this is a 75 dollar part with 45 min of labor according to the shop which is the only reason it will not pass ny state inspection. -Gas tank has small leak near the top and will only leak if tank is 3/4 or more full and is sitting for a lil while. -Interior roof cloth is starting to rip from the rear of vehicle -Rust underneath the fuel door (see pic) -Rust on bottom both sides (see pic) -Many dinges and dents most notiable are the front bumper passenger side and rear quarter panel passenger side. -Burn hole on back seat passenger side -Heating works great but ac needs a charge I have done my best to describe vehicle but please ask questions and I will repond asap. Like I said this car is a daily driver and the engine is still strong its a 4 cyclinder so it's great on gas and has dual over head cams so it's also very fast. Would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere so bid freely no reserve auction and will go to the highest bidder.
