HISTORY : I impulsively bought this magnificent automobile for two reasons on January 2, 2010 from Lexus of Nashville. First, the best quality car I ever owned was a 1999 Lexus LS400 that caught my eye looking like new with 135,000 miles on it from a Ford dealer when I was buying a new truck several years ago so I just bought the car also. (I have owned many new cars such as Cadillacs, Lincolns, BMW's , Corvettes, Mustang GT500 ....you name it over the last 40 years). That car was traded as part of a new RV deal in 2004 and now it has 300,000 miles on it and nothing has EVER had to be done other than regular maintenance per the RV salesman who bought the car from the RV dealer. Second, YOU RARELY SEE THESE FANTASTIC CARS OFFERED WITH SUCH LOW MILEAGE, THE PERFECT COLORS WITH CHROME WHEELS AND SUCH PRISTINE CONDITION......CAPPED OFF BY THE AVAILABLE EXTENDED WARRANTY I ADDED JUST IN CASE !$! AT AN EXTRA COST OF $2150.00 MAKING THE DEAL AT $32,050 BEFORE TAXES...............LESS THAN HALF THE NEW PRICE BUT STILL IN LIKE NEW CONDITION. Cars are just something I like including owning many antique autos. My wife and I have five other licensed vehicles to drive. I bought this car impulsively but really did not need it. It is a pleasure to drive and there is not ANY american new car I would trade THIS CAR equal for today. The car has been kept in the garage and has never seen any salt. It has never been dirty for that matter in the less than 200 miles I have driven it ! I baby it and have never gotten it out if it looks like it might rain. (I get into nice cars, use them a little but usually baby them and let them sit a lot and then later let them go for something else !...check out my VW Eos convertible I bought last June and I still have only 1200 miles on it ....it is being sold also if someone would like to have it...separate "auction" ....I sold a 07 Vette CV with 4K miles and a 2008 Mustange Shelby GT500 CV with 1800 miles on it last year here on eBay !...both as new). NO I AM NOT A DEALER.......I am just a very busy person who works 60+ hrs a week. The LEXUS dealer revelation : this car was bought new and owned by a Catholic (?) "Bishop" in Nashville and has never been smoked in or ever exposed to any abuses at all. He traded it in the day I stopped to scan cars at Lexus (perhaps more people should consider being a bishop). Two other buyers were waiting in line when I made the deal. I was thinking my mother-in-law might want it but it turns out she is happy with the Lexus SUV she owns for now. My wife wants to keep driving the car she has for sentimental reasons and I am hesitant to drive a car this nice to my office frankly.......my 2009 Mercury does just fine for this purpose. This car has options most manufacturers never heard of including: 12 way seats (even the bottom of the seat will extend forward if it fits you better without bothering the other positions), power shoulder strap adjusters, power headrests, heat and air comes through both front and rear seats, bumper sensors for parking, electric rear window screen to reduce light coming through the rear windown automatically goes down when car in reverse, automatic folding mirrors that also automatically tilt down when in reverse, dash vents that fan back and forth, front and REAR electric heated seats, rear seat vanity mirrors on both sides, 3 position memory seats, 3 position garage door opener, halogen headlights that light the road up like a football field, in dash 6 CD player as well as casette player, CHROME wheel option, air bags in the rear, for the knees, side bags, pillar bags, head bags etc make this one of the safest automobiles you can buy .........A N D ....one of the things I like most is the BEAUTIFUL WHITE DIAMOND metallic paint...simply stunning (see pictures)! The body is mint. Quality is everywhere including the real solid wood trim. If you know cars I really need say nothing else about these fine automobiles. One caller asked me why I bought the warranty saying "these cars never wear out" but with the complexity of the car I took no chances. ONE OF THE QUIETEST CARS YOU WILL EVER RIDE IN ! I complained to the salesman that a pair of dealer installed new tires on the front made too much noise so : Lexus put on a brand new set of 4 MICHELINS.........the BEST TIRE THERE IS> PERIOD> (they go out of their way at Lexus to make you happy !) Payment : "certified check" that must clear before car is taken or, preferably, a bank wire transfer. NO CASH. NO EXCEPTIONS. Fly into Nashville International airport just 35 miles away!
