The truck is in excellent mechanical conditions. The truck comes from Waste Water District of the city of San Diego, CA. This has always been very well maintained. You can drive this truck anywhere and enjoy every mile of the trip. This truck only has 70,000 actual miles on it. These engines go for over 500,000 miles between overhauls. With such low miles, there is plenty of like left in this bad boy. In fact, it has not finished braking in yet. This truck is equipped with a Cummins 8.3 "C" Series turbo diesel engine. There are no leaks and it runs like the day it came out of the factory. Its coupled to an Allison MT 643 4 speed automatic trans and you have some serious power here. At the same time, its also pretty economical on fuel. The cab is pretty basic. It is equipped with power steering, air brakes and more. There is no air conditioning. The seat is a one piece bench seat, and its in has a few rips in the fabric. The floor covering is a solid rubber mat. The exterior of the cab has a few nicks and pings, but there is no cracks anywhere that I can see. The fiberglass hood and the metal cab is in very nice condition. The tires are steel belted H rated radials and they are 70% or better. The utility box is built by Knapheide. All the door are double locked for extra protection. On top of the right side boxes they mounted a water tank and its plumbed to the rear. There is a soap dispenser for washing your hands. On the bumper, there is a base that is made for your vise. The bumper also has a tow receiver built in. There is a 500 lbs capacity jib crane in the back. We did not get around to testing it, but will test it before the end of the auction. This has always been a Southern California truck. This means that there is no rusting problems. The rust that may be seen on some of the pictures is just light surface rust and not effect the truck in anyway. This truck has never been involved in any accident and you will receive a clear title with it. !!! NOT FOR SALE IN CALIFORNIA!!!
