Here is a 1991 Chevy Astro Passenger Van that is in VERY good running condition given its age and mileage. This van started out life as a Ventura County [California] Passenger Van. It was VERY well maintained by Ventura County. I purchased it in 2003 with about 81K miles on it. I was told when I bought it that it had been retired 3 years earlier, and that it had sat in a lot since then. Whatever the case, I found the van to be in EXCELLENT running condition, and it has given me very little trouble. To this day, with over 175K miles, it doesn't use oil. Despite its age, it still has a bit of life left to it. The van has power steering and brakes. As of last summer the air conditioner would freeze you out, but this year it is no longer working (which is why I am selling it). I have NOT had it looked at. It is equipped with an aftermarket AM/FM CD player (with removable faceplate), but the CD jumps around too much that it is virtually unusable. But it does have an external input for, say, an iPod or mp3 player (or satellite radio), which DOES work. Other than that, the van runs good. This vehicle is located in Iselin, NJ.
