Vehicle Detail
1967, Crown Model, 2 Door Hard Top Body, Engine 440-cid V8, There were limited 2 door Crowns built in 1967. This is the model they completely changed under the skin. The changes were intended to take Imperial away from Lincoln and into its own territory, chassis to the ‘unibody’ construction, and styling kept the overall straight-line, sharp-edged Engel theme. The spare tire bulge – gone, the boss remained. The practically full-width taillights spread out from it, straight, but ended before chrome-tipped rear wings. The front end was somewhat similar to 1966's, although the glass lamp covers were gone. This vehicle has clear Minnesota titled and has been stored in a machine shed. Over the last several years the vehicle has been driven very little and only in the summer. No know major repairs. I am placing this offering on behalf of my sister-in-law (husband passed). I will try to answer any questions. Last year I took these photos of the know issues: Driver seat covering worn, small bubbling appearing on rear fender just above the fender skirts, rear wings show rust at bottom (found two extra rear wings with new rubber mounts and an old armrest in shed), right rear window motor is laying in rear floor, (assumed it was removed for repair). I charged the battery and moved the car to take tthese photos without issue. This 1967 Imperial Crown Coupe has black exterior and red leather interior, located in Dodge Center, Minnesota, in the south east section of the state. The reading shows less than 34,000 miles, (the driver seat and arm rest raises questions, however the engine looks good), it has Torqueflite Transmission, power steering, windows, vent windows, seats, door locks, brakes, cornering lights, wheel covers, clock, fender mounted turn indicator lights, leather trim, 440 cu in engine, 4BBL, sure grip differential, heater and air conditioning, radio, auto pilot, power trunk lid release, steering wheel- tilt a scope and a Hugh trunk with spare tire cover. Everything in this driveline appears to be untouched except for basic maintenance. If you have any questions, or want to schedule a viewing, please let us know. I will try to review for any questions each evening. Thanks for looking and Thanks to our Veterans.
