Hello:) You are bidding on a 1986.5 Porsche 928S. If you are familiar with the 928 you know the 86.5 is considered to be the best built with the 32 valve v8 engine and larger brakes and other S4 options without the 87 and newer gremlins. I have owned this car for a few years and it has been sitting in the garage more than driven. It comes in the beautiful color combination of white with black interior. The exterior and interior are beautiful. Seats look like new with no tears. The dash looks perfect and there are no cracks like you see on most of them. Carpet is like new as well. This was a California car prior to me owning it and there is no rust on the car. It has a lot of updates as well. Front and rear bumpers are AIR(American International Racing) out of California and really set this car apart from other 928's. Tires are like new. Now for the bad...:) Car was running fine last time I drove it 3 months ago. The car now will not stay running unless you place the MAF(mass air flow canister) on top of the engine. Doing this will let it idle fine but when you touch the gas pedal it stalls. It has a brand new MAF on it now and it did not fix the problem. I also replaced the fuel pump thinking this was the problem....that did not fix it either. If you are familiar with these cars or know a good european mechanic than this is the car for you. The car sounds incredible with the v8 roar! I love this car but the wife wants a Mercedes Sl 500 convertible so it has to go. The 928 is becoming highly collectible and the value of these cars is climbing quickly. I can tell you that the motor and transmission ran perfect on this car and it shifted perfectly and is very very fast! Power windows worked,sunroof worked,doors would lock fine when you press the button on the inside but when you tried to lock them from the outside with the key they would not lock. Has a nice stereo but the speakers dont sound that great. Wipers worked and all gauges worked fine. A/C needs a charge. There were no oil leaks or transmission leaks. Developed a little power steering leak after sitting. Has upgraded european style headlights(H5). Has all the options including the chrome wheels and exterior body mouldings. Clean carfax and no salvage history on this vehicle. I have a clear Florida title that will be transfered to the buyer after payment is received in full. I can help load onto trailer if needed.
