Beloved 2008 Volkswagen GTI For Sale !!**~SOLD AS IS - NOT RUNNING / FOR PARTS~**!!White exterior, black leather interior, touring package KBB value is $4-5K+moonroof +power locks, windows, side mirrors +power steering +heated front seats, side mirrors +carbon fiber interior details +leather steering wheel / gearshift knob +tires recently replaced Aftermarket parts:+euro style tail lights +clarion radio with cd / dvd, gps navigation system +auto start +front grill Unknown electrical problem, computer will not recognize key in ignition. Car was brought to a general auto shop and then a VW shop, both couldn’t find the problem and wanted more money to continue trying. Prior to this, the car ran great, with the exception of the air conditioning being unreliable (heat worked fine). Maintained regularly and well cared for; bought in 2011, VW replaced engine & turbo in 2013, stopped working in 2018. Car shows some minor wear and tear: front seats are cracked around edges and there is a small tear in the passenger seat, small dings/scratches on the exterior body. Front bumper was taken off at a shop when the headlight needed replacing and not installed back on properly. In 2017 the car was rear-ended and had the rear bumper replaced, back hatch was replaced with a rabbit door. Tires had been replaced a month prior to this, still in great shape.
