If you're looking for the "ULTIMATE RESTORATION" candidate, this is absolutely as good as it gets. I specialize in Vintage Chevrolet 4x4 vehicles, never have I run across a more RUST-FREE K5 Blazer, nor vehicle for that matter. The only very small bit of rust is just above the front passenger fender, (Pictured) & a very easy fix. This second gen or "Squarebody" was famous for rusting out if it spent it's life in the wrong climate or area. This particular K5 spent it's entire 38 year life in Central Oregon High Desert; a true SURVIVOR! This would be a SLAM DUNK restoration, with almost zero body work. LOOK at the sheet metal under this truck, when have you seen a Square Body K5 Chevy with ZERO RUST? I've never seen ANYTHING like it! I removed all of the carpet in the rear to reveal nice clean rust free sheet metal, THIS TRUCK ISN'T HIDING ANYTHING. High-Optioned Silverado with 350 Small block V8, TH350 Auto trans, this year was great in the fact they came from the Factory with the Heavy-Duty NP205 cast iron Transfer Case. Tachometer, A/C cab, Electric rear window (that still works), **Wheels have been replaced with Correct Genuine GM Rally wheels with Nice caps & beauty rings & good tires (Firestone Destination A/T 31x10.50x15), spare is NEW, powder coated wheel (See Picture). This truck is 99% Original & unmolested. Never been lifted or hacked, never a new engine or drivetrain replacement... fires right up and drives great. Shifts through the gears smooth. Still has the original line-build markings on the frame and in engine bay. You will be very hard-pressed to ever find a better truck; it's a great color, great options.
