1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Convertible. A very nice restoration project car. Rangoon Red body with white top and red interior. Car has its original 289 4bbl engine with 4 speed transmission. Factory installed air conditioning, power top, center console, seat belts, rally pack with tack, clock and spinner hub caps. Car had somewhat of a restoration back in 1983 not for any accidents but rust on wheel wells and fenders. Fenders and quarters were Ford bought, no after market parts. Shock towers are very solid, has its 64 1/2 hood (before crumple zones were added), has generator rather then alternator. Fender aprons are straight and solid, show no signs of accidents. Quarter panels and fenders are also solid, no plastic or body fillers, doors have rust in front corners. Trunk floors are starting to rust, left hand side has rust hole, right side still seems solid. Interior is all there but needs to be restored. Floors front and back seem solid, no visible holes or carpet hanging down underneath, but like with all rustangs will probably need replaced. Has trunk mat and convertible top boot (red) also included. 2 original sets of pony keys for doors, trunk and ignition. Has 4 bias ply tires that hold air for only a few hours. Long enough to load on a trailer. Needs new top and back window. Car has been sitting behind my garage since 1998, was driven regularly up till then. I have not tried to start engine but does turn over by hand. Car is being sold as a project car with no warranties and not drivable at time of pick-up. Buyer is responsible for pick-up and delivery. Car is on a rolling chassis (does not run) so can be pushed or winched on a trailer. I will try and answer all questions as soon as possible and provide any pictures requested.
