Vehicle Detail
I am selling a 1936 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Sedan Suicide door barn find. It is in good unrestored original condition. The odometer reads 57,884 miles. All doors open and close very nicely with no sagging whatsoever. It is all original except for the shifter ball. Has all the original equipment. Car started up after over 40 years of storage. Lot driven only. Brakes and mechanicals would need to be gone over. Interior lights and gauges all seem to be in working condition. Interior seems to be in very good original condition with very little wear. Floors are solid. Glass is good with no cracks. The body is in very good condition, however there was some touch up painting done to the car and work done to the bottom of the two rear doors many years ago. Trunk is in very good and solid condition with spare tire. Frame is in very good condition. All the mechanicals including engine and transmission are original. Would make an excellent restoration project or simply drive as is. Cars like this (being 82 yrs. old) are very rarely seen in this condition. On Dec-16-18 at 04:01:40 PST, seller added the following information: I've come to realize that the 235 Blue Flame engine that I had listed in this ad is incorrect. that engine was introduced by Chevrolet some years later. The engine that is in the car is the original engine that came from the factory in 1936. It is a 206 in-line 6 cylinder motor. 206.8-cubic-inch (3.4 L) (3.3125 by 4 inches (84.14 mm × 101.60 mm)) variant was used by Chevrolet and GMC trucks in 1934, 1935, and 1936. The 1934 Chevrolet "Master Deluxe" series used this engine, as did all 1935-1936 Chevrolet passenger cars. This newly revised engine in 1936 put out 80 hp (60 kW). Sorry for the mistake.....but this is the correct and original motor for the car that came from the factory.
