Vehicle Detail
Here is a great Honda Cl160 that just needs a little fiddling. I bought the bike several years ago in San Diego, and have never really had the time to work on it. Over the years I rebuilt the wheels, put on a new seat cover, installed NOS S&W rear shocks, and about six months ago put on brand new Pirelli tires. I have too many projects and this poor thing has never made it to the top of the list-time to let someone else have some fun with it. The bike starts up but runs kind of irratically. I think it may be an air leak at the carburetors or something, since the idle will wonder. Also, there is some tappet noise (unless these are supposed to sound like that? I've never owned a 160 Honda). Though all of the electrics and lights work, i can see evidence of someone down the road messing with the harness a bit. In fact, when I started it up a few weeks ago, I took the key out and it still ran! So you may want to check that out! Also included is a front wheel (The one on the bike had air vents machined in...looks great, but maybe not the best idea on a scrambler), center stand, and original shocks (not pictured). The paint does not look original, looks better in the pics than in person. Also, the front fender is banged up and has a spray can coat of silver. The title is clear and in my name, even has current registration, though it's never left my driveway. Not included is the license plate frame....again, not included is the license plate frame. I worked at Temple City Honda way back and am keeping it for sentimental reasons (I put it on by the way, not sure where it was sold originally) . Please check the ample pics and ask questions if you have them. Shipping is the buyer's responsibility, but I will help as much as possible. A deposit is required 24hrs after the auction, and full payment in 7 days. Thanks for looking! -------------------Update--------------------------------------I just received this message from a fellow ebayer....Just an FYI.Thanks." The numbers indicate that someone put a motor from a slightly earlier CB160 into the CL.....The motor should begin with CL160E- and then be within about two hundred digits from the frame number. "
