I am relisting this vehicle and reducing the price. This Jeep has been a multi-year restoration/modernization project. I purchased it in May of 2012 and completed about a year ago.Specifics include: Exterior/body: 2" liftnew galvanized chassis fabricated by Knockdown Customsnew suspension (springs, shocks, body mounts)AX-15 five speed manual transmissionrebuilt Dana 300 transfer case with split shifting new drivelinesnew aluminum radiator and electric fannew A/C compressor and kit (kit is yet to be installed, but will come with vehicle as part of the purchase) a Gen 3 5.3L V8 Vortec out of a GMC Sierra pickup truck. The engine was reworked by Novak and it runs and sounds great. General Comments: The 5.3L V8 Gen 3 engine had 27k miles on it when pulled out of a 2006 GMC 1500LT (purchased from Novak). It additional miles as noted on the new odometer. Paint is about a 10 footer. Looks good overall, but not show condition by any means. When I purchased the vehicle, it had about 202K miles on it per the original odometer, but I can't guarantee that mileage as nothing worked on it when I purchased it. Since rebuild, I have put on about another 2100 miles as reflected on the new odometer. The vehicle does not have air conditioning hooked up; however, I have the kit and will include it with the sale along with documentation and directions for installation (see last photo of items included with sale). I have invested well over $28K in this vehicle and am expecting to take a loss on this sell, but need to sell it anyway. The vehicle is sold as is and is also being listed locally. I reserve the right to end the auction early if a local purchase is achieved. Local pickup only. I will assist with transport provided the transporter will do a residential pick-up.
