Original Scandinavian owner bought the bike new to take with him as he emigrated to the USA and found he was unable to title here. He rode the bike around his neighborhood and land but never was able to put it on the road. I purchased the bike and after several months of dealing with a foreign title with a typo was able to get BMW to verify the original sale, VIN and was, after two physical inspections, able to get a Texas title issued for it. Unfortunately since then I’ve been unable to work on it and it’s sat in my workshop under a tarp since. The fuel has been stabilized but the battery is long dead. This is a perfect project bike for someone a bit handy and wants a classic BMW Twin. The bike comes with new OEM exhausts (price them) and hard bags. It does need some TLC. I expect the carbs by now need floats and diaphragms. The handle bars got slightly bent when the bike was last moved.
