1978 Datsun 280Z For Sale I'm selling my 1978 Datsun 280-Z. It is in fantastic shape and has ridiculously low mileage. I am the third owner. Ownership and mileage is well-documented through appraisals, bills of sale and service records. NO RESERVE!!!! I purchased the car in 2005 with an odometer reading of 21,300 miles. I've put on less than 6,000 miles since I've owned it. It has always been garaged and has not been driven in rain or other inclement weather. This automobile does not have air-conditioning. I purchased a professional appraisal on September 21, 2018. The car is rated as a #3++/#2 vehicle and market value is appraised at $19,000-$22,000. Pertinent statements from the appraisal are: "...its condition is increased substantially because of the thoroughly documented ownership, originality and amazing low miles". "Exterior - VG/Show condition over original, straight, rust-free panels with no visible dings or dents. Front bumper has a small ding. Small amount of smoothing filler on lower, right side." "Wheel covers have minor finish loss, but no curb rash." "Interior - All original in Show/Excellent condition and shows no visible wear save for abraded weather-stripping on drive's door sill and carpet in rear has either stains or sun damage. All gauges, instruments, accessories are fully operational." "Engine/Undercarriage - Engine bay is clean showing no drips & all bests, hoses, lines are in VG/Show condition."
