For Sale is my 1952 MG TD. I’ve had this car for a few years now and simply don’t drive it enough to keep it. The car runs and drives nicely. The engine and transmission were replaced by the previous owner with a 1275 engine and trans which appear to be more powerful than the other TD’s I’ve driven. No cutting or welding was done for the installations so you can replace it with an original TD engine and trans if you’d like it to be original. The paint on the car is about an 8.5 on a 10 scale. When washed and waxed it shines like new as does the chrome. The car has all the weather gear, newer top, side curtains and a new toneau cover never installed. All the electrics work on the car as they should, but the speedo isn’t hooked up. I never bothered to hook it up since it isn’t really necessary. The interior is in almost perfect shape, seats show no signs of wear or damage. Door panels are in excellent shape. Dash, looks to be original and could use a face lift or wood dash would look awsome. The carpet, If you want to call it that is some cheap carpet not from a TD.The tires appear to be fairly new with little use, the spare has never been on the ground. There is a new stainless steel exhaust, new battery, new fuel pump, new cap, rotar, condenser and wires. Car runs really nicely once warmed up. Brakes feel as good as brakes on a TD should. I like this car but simply don’t drive it enough. I want to sell it to buy something with a back seat so my kid can ride with me. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
