1968 Ford Mustang Fastback Resto-Mod originally from Washington State, always garage kept in New York State. Current setup on car has approximately 1200 miles on it. It is currently registered for New York State. Car runs on 93-octane pump gas. · 408W with forged internals and SCAT crank, Trick flow twisted wedge heads· Victor Jr Intake· Demon 850cfm carburetor· March chrome engine accessories w/AC· Heidt’s hot rod front coil over conversion w/Power Steering· Strange Engineering Dana 60 rear w/ 4.10 gear set· CalTrac rear suspension· Tremec TKO600 short shift· Spec Hydraulic racing clutch· Hooker Long tube headers into custom built dual side exhaust· MSD 7AL ignition and retard module· 125 HP wet shot nitrous with separate fuel system, steering wheel controls, and gauge readouts· Comp Eng custom roll cage with removable swing outs leaving interior near stock· Simpson Restraint 5 point harnesses in front seats· Taylor Battery Relocation Kit in trunk with external safety shutoff and external charging posts· 22 gal racing fuel cell in floor of trunk· 4 wheel power disc brakes with vacuum supplied by SSBC vacuum pump· Custom interior console with emergency cutoff switches, twin fuel system gauges, nitrous pressure, and voltmeter.· Autolite racing meters in original mustang dash· Weld rear wheels with Mickey Thompson ET streets (mounted) and M/T drag radials that are new, never mounted are included.· Motolita wood steering wheel w/ custom nitrous and line lock buttons· Driveshaft safety loop and sub-frame connectors · New interior floor carpet· New dash pad and radio with front kick plate speakers The seats are showing signs of their age and recovering is appropriate.The paint is showing signs of its age, as are the windows and chrome. The passenger side door was replaced with a door from a red 67 fastback before my ownership, so this car’s history is lost to time. Additionally it came to me with a 289, instead of the 68 302 or whatever engine it left Detroit with. In summary, this car cannot be restored, but was an excellent resto-mod candidate. On Oct-10-18 at 09:07:10 PDT, seller added the following information: Correction to above, the driver's side door was replaced, not the passenger door as stated. Additionally, the battery was replaced in august and my mechanic noted a small oil leak he did not think was problematic when safety inspection was completed in august. I would post pictures but I do not have a lift and the car is too low to get a decent picture of it on the ground.
