This 1961 International Harvester Scout is a 1 off custom resto-mod. The truck drives well, tracks straight, and stops properly. The truck has undergone a thorough frame off restoration 7 years ago, and was built using quality parts and craftsmanship. The original 1961 fully boxed frame has been modified to include new Crossmembers for the Engine and Transmission, an IFS Suspension, it has been ‘C’ notched over the rear axle, then it was all repainted and a 1966 tub was mounted back on it using New Polyurethane Body Bushings.The windshield, door glass, regulators, wing window assemblies, latches. etc., were all removed prior to the body and paint work. The truck is completely rust free, but the paint shows signs of bubbling in a few areas. The truck comes with a clear Texas title, and has been driven over 6,900 miles since the odometer was reset during restoration.
