I’m selling my 1999 M-B SL500. This is a dream car, I’m selling it because I’m paying extra parking in my condominium and it is expensive. So I decided to sell it and buy a motorcycle instead. I’m the second owner, bought the car this year. The 1st owner bought the car in Florida and kept all the books and manuals. This car has been maintaned by only one famous mechanic in Hollywood, FL. No other mechanic has touched it. Every single thing, specially electronics, works perfectly in this car. Bose sound system sounds like new! Suspension is in perfect condition and even the steering wheel feels like in a new car. Pros: clean and well maintained car, the soft top has been used only twice by the first owner. Drives like a brand new car. Tires in 80% life. It is an untouched car, perfect for a collector or a MB lover. Cons: since it is an untouched car with almost 20 years, the hood needs to be painted (it has some rust in its corner), break master cylinder has to be replaced (I have already bought a replacement one, it will come with the car, so you just have to install it), front bumper lip has some crackles I would paint it as well. Also the wheels are untouched, should be painted too for a clean look. Overall it is very rare to find a SL in this condition. It is a NO RESERVE auction!
