This is a 1998 Toyota Avalon seized by the City of Milford Police Department in Milford, Delaware pursuant to a criminal investigation. The Vehicle was awarded to the City of Milford by the Superior Court of the State of Delaware and the City holds a clear title to the vehicle. Please read and understand the conditions of this sale prior to bidding. THIS VEHICLE IS FOR SALE AS IS WHERE IS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY TYPE expressed or implied. The body of this vehicle has multiple scratches, dents, dings, scrapes and broken body parts. There is only ONE set of keys to the vehicle. The digital odometer reads 182,923. The vehicle has a reconstructed title. Known problems with the vehicle are that the battery needs replacing and it will start and run with a jump start. The vehicle brakes need replacing and the tires should be replaced. There are several light bulbs burnt out and the wipers need replacing. There is visible fluid on the engine block that appears to be oil leakage The plastic shroud around the cooling fan is missing at least two bolts that hold it in place. The interior of the vehicle has missing or broken trim pieces and the right rear window behind the back door is broken. As the jump box was disconnected from this vehicle, a couple of the dash lights were flickering and the ABS light stayed on, however the engine continued to run smoothly on its own. There may be additional problems with the vehicle that are unknown to the seller. The interior is leather and the vehicle is equipped with a sun roof, am/fm stereo with cassette and CD player. It has electric windows and door locks but none of these features were tested for functionality The seats are leather Again, the vehicle is sold as is where is without any type of warranty of any type, expressed or implied. Buyer must contact the City of Milford via E-Bay messenger and disclose full legal name and other information needed for Title Transfer within 3 days of auction close Full Payment must be made by Certified bank check or money order within 7 days of auction close. Credit cards, cash or personal check can not be accepted for payment. Vehicle must be removed from the lot in Milford, Delaware within 15 days of auction close. The City will not arrange for shipping of the vehicle. It is recommended that the vehicle be towed or trailered from the lot. The City of Milford does not profit from the sale of this vehicle. All monies, less incurred expenses is turned over to the State of Delaware pursuant to Delaware law.
