We bought the car for my son here on eBay for $5,700.00 about a year ago flew to NYC drove It home here to KY. with no problems at all. My son got into trouble and he's never even seen or driven it. I put new tires and suspension less than 200 miles ago and now I have about $7000.00 in the car. It's just gonna sit in the garage and waste away and we would much rather see it out and enjoyed! The little car is never driven except on occasion to keep everything lubed up and to prevent flat spots on the new tires. I am only the second owner of this Automobile, I bought It from the gentleman that purchased It new In 2001. 100% original and unmodified, with 81,500 original miles. It drives fantastic, very fast and tight. It shifts well and handles great too. The engine and turbo are both strong and pull hard. The brakes are fine but making a little noise and will need new pads before long. The exterior is exceptionally nice for a 17 year old car, but not perfect, It has the expected rock chips, small door dings, scratches and rubs, the stock wheels look great overall but have a few rubs also. The interior Is original, very nice but again not perfect. The stereo sounds good, the tape deck and CD changer were never used by us and we have no Idea as to their functionality? Heat and air both work well, heated seats work, power top operates flawlessly and has no leaks. Original spare tire, jack and first aid kit. When the new suspension parts were installed ( springs and lower control arms ) the mechanics failed to tighten one of the bolts on one of the rear lower control arms and It's now making some noise while in reverse and cutting the wheels to turn it gets bound up and makes a popping sound It will need to be tightened and then re-aligned once tightened back up. I have only driven the car maybe thirty five miles or so since the problem was discovered and I've done so without issue, It seems fine but I'm not a mechanic and honestly have no Idea If the car will be safe to make a trip without tightening the bolt and then re-aligning the wheels? I would be scared to make a long trip without this being done, but Its fine for a test drive when you arrive. The car Is making the afore mentioned noise coming for the rear end no Idea of what the problem Is and It's still going down the road fine. I'm aware there Is a loose lower control arm on the rear could be an easy fix, but I'm about $7000.00 Into the car now and I'm just done throwing money at It. This Is my lowest amount I'll consider taking. Super strong running,great turbo acceleration and really a beautiful little ride, I hope It finds a good home?
