In person inspection is strongly welcome. For sale is a clean CT titled ONE owner original paint (paint code: 684, Capri Green) 1992 BMW R100R with 54,XXX miles. VIN#: WB1046904N6293817. Production date: January 1992. The bike comes with clear Connecticut title, Connecticut registration, and bill of sale. This R100R started life as a R100RT. It was professionally converted to the standard naked Roadster version sometimes in it's life time. This R100R was purchased from the 82 years old original owner last year. It was getting too heavy for her even without the heavy chunky RT fairing so she had to let it go. She stated her and her boy friend did all the services themselves through out the ownership to keep it safely on the roads. There are the services were done by me to ensure it's functionality and safety since last year. l Fluids ( engine fluid, transmission fluid, drive-shaft, and final drive oil) changed twice, May 2017 and Aug 2018. l Front brake line replaced l Front brake fluid flashed l Front brake pads checked (80%+ remain) l Front tire replaced (~500 miles on it) l handlebar grips replaced l Spark plugs replaced l Battery replaced l Valve gaps adjusted l Ignition timing checked l Carburetors rebuilt, adjusted, and synchronized l Engine bolts re-torqed l Clutch adjusted l Rear swing arm pivots re-torqued l rear brake adjusted l Air filter replaced l All light bulbs were checked/replaced if neede l Every single nuts and bolts were cleaned/inspected and was torqued to spec There are some scratches on the both sides of the fuel tank which were caused from the RT fairing. There is a little crank on the seat. Rear seat cowl was repaired. You will need a rear tire if you are planning to ride 1000+ miles back home. Please see photos for more details. The engine is quiet, and transmission is smooth. It runs like a sewing machine. The riding position is very comfortable. It is truly a turn-key classic motorcycle and needs nothing for awhile. It is not easy for me to part with this fine example, but I need rooms for the upcoming projects and something has to go.
