Relisting (and at a discount) because the previous bidder didn’t actually have the means to pay, but because I’ve got to move this car (I’ve been dragging my feet on selling for about five months now because love car but it’s not helping any one out to sit around and not be used). So please, if you bid please be prepared to follow through. Car is a 1999 528iT with 230k miles. I bought it from the second owner 12 years ago. It was first a lease and then a CPO. For the time that I've owned it, it's received a combination of my work (brakes and the like) and two qualified indies - RRT outside of DC and Minhs in Brooklyn. At this age the car is far from perfect, but has been very well maintained and I would trust it to drive anywhere. In the past two years the following has been done:- new battery, shocks (Koni sports x4), ac compressor, fan clutch, water pump, ps pump, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, oil filter housing, ps hoses, tie rods, and exhaust brackets. Frankly I feel like there's plenty more (and I've got receipts for all this stuff), but that's just off the top of my head. I'll get to what's wrong with the car, but first, mods. Plenty of mods. - m-sport front and rear bumpers, euro clear corner Hella angle eye headlights, 18" staggered style 42 wheels (refinished - again with receipts - last summer), supersprint exhaust, rear liftgate spoiler, grey interior trim. Mkiv Nav w 16:9 screen, aforementioned Konis, and a while bunch of small stuff. Ok, so the bad. Nothing is terribly major but please don’t expect a showroom peice at this price. Basically a good car but at this age is better suited to someone who has the time to turn a wrench now and then. - rear liftgate shocks are shot. - there's a dent in the drivers side wheel well - interior fan is on and off (it works, but sometimes takes a day off)- rear bumper has chips- brake wear indicators randomly comes on at times, but's to not because of the pads - Tires are usable but quite worn Car will come with both the 18" style 42's with summer tires as well as a set of 18" ASA AR1's with snow tires. (it can be sold with only the snows at a discount)
