We are selling my wife's 1985 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z 5 Speed manual with 64,800 Original Miles. We bought the car back in 1994 with 7,270 miles on it from our neighbors which were the original owners. Its been her baby ever since. It pretty much stayed at our Missouri home and was never driven in winter. (garage kept its whole life. We did take it to our FL home one year, then had it shipped right back home to Streaker ILL. Its in Missouri now. To be clear....This is a Rust Free Car, and Its 99.9% all Original. Just parts listed have been changed. The car is in beautiful condition inside and out !! We were told by Hagerty ( after sending them info and pic's) that ours could possible be the cleanest low mile Daytona Turbo Z left in existence. We are not sure of that Nor do we claim that, but that's what they told us. The car has power seats, power windows, power locks, cruise control, tilt wheel, pump up lumbar support, sun roof/ with cover, on board talking computer, that still works and sounds perfect, beautiful shifting 5 speed manual transmission, very strong 4cy 2.2L turbo engine with all the power it had the day in left the showroom and then some. Its just still very, very peppy and pulls very strong in every gear.The turbo puts out,12psi total, we have always ran 93 octane fuel in it as well. The paint still shine like new, the interior looks new, everything works as it should. Just in the last year ,after it sat for about 2 years without being driven, we had the following work performed. Gas tank dropped and cleaned, new plugs, new cap, new rotor, new wires, A/C recharged, (R-12 still) brand new tires, new radiator and thermostat, fresh oil change Moblie 1, transmission fluid flush and change,and new air filter. It runs like a top and is ready to go. Any questions please call me and I will be happy to answer them. Back when we bought the car ,The lovely state of Illinois messed up the mileage because of the 5 digit OD. On 4/20/1994 when we bought it had 7,270 miles ( Not 72,700) We didn't know it then or we would of had it done a long time ago, but back then there was no car fax.
