1953 matching numbers Triumph Thunderbird (6T 39520), built April 6th, and shipped to Johnson Motors April 18th.1953 according to factory records. Restored 3 years ago.Bike starts easily, runs and ticks over well, but has never been licensed for the road. All sheet metal is original Triumph, the wheel rims were NOS (I had them re-chromed), with the correct numbers, but the rear is not a good stamping, and while I can't get a good shot of it, it is clear to the naked eye. Both fenders also were NOS. Most, but not all chromed parts are original, with new chrome, and fasteners are cadmium plated. Fork tubes and speedo also NOS. New tires are Avon.It has a Canadian title in my name. I'll be sorry to see it go, but I need the space. I am happy to answer any questions, or post extra pictures if needed, and I will sell worldwide. Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping or pickup, but I will do anything I can to assist at this end. Please note, shipping can be pricey.
