1976 Honda MR

This is a pretty nice 1976 Honda MR250 Elsinore. It is a fairly rare one year model Enduro produced by Honda. The bike was in storage for well over a decade before I acquired it. As you can see from the pictures the headlight lense is cracked and the tail light is missing. This bike still has the original bridgestones on it that came from the factory and there is still plenty of tread! When this bike was pulled out of storage there was gunk and surface rust in the tank. I spent two days rinsing it out and striping the surface rust with Evaporust. I also tracked down a brand new petcock for the bike. In addition I cleaned the air box , installed a new Filter and a brand new 36mm Mikuni. The bike has great compression and starts in 1-2 kicks every time. It idles runs/ shifts as it should and it is a surprisingly fast and quiet bike. I do have some video of the bike if you would like to see it. I am open to a mutli - part payment as long as we discuss it in advance of purchase. Also I don't have a problem storing the bike while you arrange shipping. I want this to be a stress free transaction for the buyer .
