1979 BMW R100 Café Racer Project I purchased this project in current condition about 1 year ago with plans to finish and enjoy. Unfortunately too many variables at this time with no end in site. selling the house and have too much to move already. have to pass this project on to a well-qualified enthusiast like myself. already have 3 BMW's so don't need another.The description below comes from the previous seller that I acquired project from. I have NOT touched bike since I had it shipped so the project is in exact condition and the description below has not changed. The work that has been done to date is properly depicted in pictures attached. Original seller's description Here's a rare opportunity to buy a Custom Café project that has had many, many custom fabricated part and pieces. Most all of the fabrication is complete and bolt on parts and pieces are needed to complete. Paint, powder coat wire it and fire it up!The project began as a complete 1979 R100RT in perfect running condition. It was taken completely apart and the custom support for the AirTech fairing and Custom rear seat clip were fabricated. The Fairing is attached with Dzus 1/4 turn fasteners for quick removal. The seat pod has a Custom Fabricated forward hinge that allows access to the compartment underneath that will hold the battery and M-unit fuse block.Stock seat latch/Lock utilizing the factory key is still in place. Stock BMW swingarm had a brace installed and has already been powder coated.The stock BMW tank is in perfect shape and just needs to be primed and painted. Custom billet clip-on parts. powder coated black and custom billet adjustable levers front brake reservoir.Custom 2 into 1 racing exhaust. expensive Oshmo Billet rear set pegs control installed. The motor is in perfect shape and the heads have been gone through and cleaned. clean title, matching numbers, frame motor, title. I've put tons of fabrication time in this project!! Unfortunately, I have other projects that need to be completed soon and I need the funds to finish those.
