2001 Dodge Durango SLT 4WD. 4.7L V8 engine. 245,000 miles Burgandy exterior w/gray interior. We hate to give this vehicle up but we cannot afford to keep 2 on the road. If you are mechanically inclined or know someone who is, this would be a perfect work vehicle or second car. This vehicle was never driven hard, never taken "off-road" and had it's oil changed regularly. It was a reliable vehicle and was driven daily. There is plenty of tread left on the 16" tires. Also: 2" trailer hitch receiver and 3rd-row seating. During installation of new front brakes, our mechanic noted that the wheel bearings needed to be replaced. Shortly thereafter, we got a new car and quit driving the Durango. The bearings are part of the wheel hub assembly and can be purchased for around $25 to $50 online. Also of note, the transmission pan needs to have the gasket replaced and a new battery is in order (it will hold a charge for a day or two).
