1986 Suzuki GSX-R 1100 This beautiful 86 GSX-R 1100 has been in my vintage collection for roughly 3 yrs. Professionally repainted in the correct red /blue / silver color scheme. The striping itself was painstakingly painted on and not stickers or decals. This bike is Striking in person. Brand new Vance & Hines SS2R complete exhaust with new s/s bolts and gaskets. Also a new AGM maintenance free battery was just installed to name just a few new items. The motor runs strong and is a (nom) 1988 1127cc, #V706-107xxx. Very fast and powerful combo. This 1st year GSX-R 1100 is not perfect but shows extremely well and lots of work and money went into it before my ownership. Has a a few minor blemishes / nicks and one crack in the inside front middle cowl (not really noticeble) where it wraps around as shown in picture. Current mileage shown is just over 26k.A solo seat cowl cover is included, but back rest pad needs recover. No mounting hardware. See picture Couple things to mention; The Hi /Lo beams, turn signals and horn all work except very recent the tail light and instrument background lighting are not,(brake light and parking light works fine) which is strange as everything worked other day. In fact one of the pictures i took a few days ago shows the instuments illuminated. One other thing is the clutch lever perch at handlebar just started making a weird click sound when pulled in all the way. Clutch seems fine and operational. Thought I mention it anyway. There may be some other things or items I've over looked or that may be needed. Look over all the pictures well for overall condition. Sold as is as seen with an open title.
