Vehicle Detail

1968 HONDA CL175 SCRAMBLER, VERY CLEAN CALIFORNIA HONDAYES, CALIFORNIA TITLED AND REGISTERED THROUGH FEB. 2019... and basically NO RUST.... sweet! Great Honda CL175! Starts, runs, shifts and stops as it shouldREADY TO RIDE!Buy-It-Now to much?Make an offer... make it yours! The Good Stuf...-Clear CA Title in my name, in hand, and registered 'til February 2019.-New wheel bearings, neck bearings.-New Honda Orange paint.-Complete resent tune up, including valve adjustment, and oil changed... READY TO RIDE!.-All lights work as they should, including turn blinkers.-Front and rear brakes work as new.-Front forks (including new rubber gaters) rebuilt and working smooth!-Rear suspension works as it should.-New sprockets and drive chain.-Horn works.-New brake and clutch levers.-All cables either replaced or cleaned, and lubricated.-New resent correct Battery.-Original DID wheels, front and rear... with NO RUST to speak of... check the pictures.-ALL chrome is un-believably rust free.... REALLY BEAUTIFUL! (CA bike... ya gotta love it)-Tools and tool pouch, all manuals and new NOS speedometer pictured INCLUDED! (last pictures)-I've got some spare NOS and Old But Good parts in some boxes too, that I can mail to ya if ya want them. Just let me know if ya want them or not, either way.... that way I can empty the CL175 shelf, either mail to you, or trash.-This CL175 has an "E" motor which indicates it is "Electric Start Ready". Starters are available, so if you want to switch it over to electric start, you have the option.-And the list goes on..... and on..... The Not So Good Stuf...-Tires are good, don't need replacing, BUT keep any eye on them, if ya run 80 MPH like she can do... (fastest I've been on her is 75 for about a 10 mile stretch... handled sweet! Runs all day at 65 / 70 on the highway.)-Speedometer indicator lights (turn, oil, neutral) have "fallen inside" the speedometer. You can see them light up inside if ya look in the holes. (A BRAND NEW, HONDA, JAPAN Speedometer is included, see last pictures) I just never got around to replacing it.- Took it out of the scooter shed for a ride the other morning, after setting on the side stand for a month or so, started second kick, great.... the not so great is I noticed a slight amount of smoking going on (oil, not excess fuel). Took it out for a 20 mile ride and returned home... not smoking anymore... not sure what that was about, but I wanted ya to know.- I wish I could think of more "Not so good Stuf" but she really is in Fantastic condition. So, If it's so good, why ya selling it ? ...Well, I like to ride my scooters at least once a month, take them out for a good hour putt and let em do what they were built for... RIDING! ...and right now, I don't have the time or energy to do that.... sooooo, it's time to thin the herd. If ya don't ride these older bikes often enough, they can go bad pretty quickly (in a couple years, or less) so ya gotta keep them moving. Ya can't let a 50 year old bike just set around.... heck, I'm 72... and even I have ta keep moving... or I have a hard time gettin' started again...if ya know what I mean. So now ya know. Don't be shy about MAKING AN OFFER... ya never know... GO AHEAD.... MAKE THAT OFFER... whats the worst that can happen.... a counter offer? If ya want to come by and check it out, just e-bay email, text or call 925-381-5772 (if no answer, just leave a detailed message) and we'll make an appointment.
